Swap card # 1

I was in a card swap recently and this was one of the cards I received. This card was made by Kathy House. I really like the idea she had of using the embossing folder to make a design on part of the front and back. It really gives a beautiful effect.

Colours used here are so saffron, real red, marina mist & vanilla. Of course everything is from my favorite company, Stampin Up!!

Funny picture

I was outside taking some photos of my scrapbooking pages when I decided to take a photo of Lulu bathing herself in the sun. It wasn't until later that I noticed my cat peering through the door spying on us. I just thought it looked funny. Thanks for stopping by.

My Crafty Sister

This is my sister Amy. Her son Taren's binder for school fell apart and instead of buying him a new one, she decided to create a fun binder that he would love. I think it turned out very cool.

So what Amy did here was take the binder apart. She took off the front and back & kept the middle part with the metal rings and also the cardboard front and back . With the cardboard she cut out different skateboarding words & images and modgepodged them to the cardboard. One picture here shows some photos I took of Taren. My Olympus camera has a feature called drawing. It's where you take a picture of someone and it creates a drawing of them. That is what Amy used to put on the front of the binder.

After modgepodging everything, Amy used duct tape to assemble everything back together. Lucky Uncle Richard had some red duct tape which went so well with all the images.

I think this was a fun clever project Amy created and Taren loved it.

Girly girl scrapbooking

This was some scrapbooking pages that I had done a few years back but I thought I would share it with you as it was part of the scrapbooking challenge . I wish I could just scrapbook all the time but I guess the reality of life doesn't allow it.

These pages are on my niece Elizabeth who loves shoes . When she wore her red shoes over, I had to take pictures as they were so adorable.

All products used are Stampin Up, current and retired, expect the red square brad.

This was another container I had lying around the house so I decided to work my magic and decorate it using the beautiful "Sending Love dsp" and the "Flower folder" for the big shot. I really like how it turned out and it makes a nice gift. Thanks for stopping by

You know using the recycled coffee drink jars to make projects is just a win win situation. My husband loves to drink the coffee (has even graciously told me he doesn't mind drinking more if I want to make more projects, lol) and I get to make this fun 3D project filled with candy!! Yummy.

All products used are Stampin up except the M&M's and drink jar

Well scripted

I wish I could take credit for the design of this card as it is so cute but I can't. This was an idea from Stampin Up. The colour combo is so saffron and pretty in pink. I used chunky pink glitter and a sticky cut for the flower. Stay tuned for some of my valentine projects to be posted.

Mojo 119 sketch challenge

I must admit, I love the Mojo Monday sketch challenge. Sometimes I will sit down to my table in my craft room and I have a hard time deciding what to do and sometimes I just don't feel that creative. Mojo Monday makes it easy for me to create a card. They give me a sketch and all I have to do is come up with a stamp and paper.

Here I have created some baby cards. I don't specifically have a baby stamp set but I do love this deer so I thought I could use it. Enjoy your day.

Ink: Choc. Chip, Pretty in Pink or Bashful Blue
